It’s the time of the month again where we name the Event Plan’s of the Month! September is a good one with four fabulous event plans to give you inspiration for your next event.
Senior Pro Rodeo Finals - Buck-N Rodeo Grounds
The event plan above shows the Senior Pro Rodeo Finals at Buck-N Rodeo Grounds at Rawhide in Chandler, AZ. The finals include a plethora of events including Saddle Bronc, Bareback, Steer Wrestling, Tie Down Roping, Team Roping, Barrel Racing, Breakaway Roping and fan favorite, Bull Riding. As well as these exciting events, there will also be multiple food and drink vendors, guaranteeing a great day for spectators.
Dave Horen, Director of Entertainment, tells us “It was important to be able to mark out and list each of the horse stalls and trailer stalls since there will be such a large amount to keep track of”.
He continues, “Scaling in this situation was extremely important to ensure everything will fit as expected and it was very helpful to have scaling automatically done through Oneplan. “
Riverside Festival
The Riverside Festival is now considered the 2nd largest electronic music festival in the province of Quebec, having welcomed over 60,000 festival-goers to Gatineau in its last 10 editions, and featuring artists such as Subtronics, Zeds Dead, Griz and R3HAB.
Set against the backdrop of the Canadian Museum of History, the Riverside Festival offers an unparalleled experience in a place rich in history and culture. Located on the banks of the Ottawa River, just across from Parliament Hill, the museum is a national treasure known for its remarkable architecture and important cultural exhibitions.
Andréanne Lacasse, Operations and Production Coordinator, told us “OnePlan provided us with a clear, easy-to-use site plan to determine our needs, saving us a lot of time and allowing us to be precise. As an electronic music festival, everything we needed was included. We were also able to share the plan easily with our suppliers and stakeholders.”
Riverside Festival use OnePlan for in multiple ways, these include set-up and tear-down, equipment and furniture orders, indicating access to concessions and deliveries, and determining available space and area capacity.
Andréanne continues, “It’s refreshing to have a single plan that can be shared in real time and that everyone can comprehend.”
The Newport Show
This busy and exciting event plan belongs to the Newport Show 2024! The Newport show is Shropshire’s best one day show packed full of agriculture, vintage tractors, food, education and music! Run by by the Newport and Distruct Agricultural Society, the society relies on the hard work of members who form the various committees required to deliver an event of such complexity, with support from a small number of dedicated staff who are committed to the event year-round.
Having taken place on July 13th, the event was a triumph fun packed with activities including a dog show, tug of war, family circus skills, maypole dancing and lots of street food!
The Newport Show also focusses on education, each year, students from schools in the Newport area are invited to showcase their creative talents to the thousands of visitors at the Newport Show. By encouraging participation in this manner, the event fosters a connection between more young people and the show, as well as the farming community.
In addition to the events surrounding the show, the Society extends its support for education throughout the entire year by offering the Lodge at Chetwynd Deer Park to schools and other groups at no cost. It’s great to see such a rewarding event!
stART on the Street
This free community event has gained the name of central Massachusetts’ largest art, music and performance festival. Visitors can explore a vibrant marketplace featuring over 250 artists and crafters, where they can watch live demonstrations as artists create unique pieces right on the street. There’s also an opportunity to get hands-on and learn new skills from experienced creatives.
stART offers a variety of activities for children and families, along with numerous dining options, including food trucks, local restaurants, and vegan choices, all placed and managed in OnePlan. The event also showcases diverse music and performances, all happening right on the street, inviting everyone to join in and be part of the experience!
