Stage Rally is a timed event where competitors in specially prepared street-legal vehicles race against the clock on closed roads. The event is built using these closed roads, that have transits between them on open public roads and the teams are allowed to service and fuel the vehicle in designated areas at specific times per a published schedule.
The event is facilitated by a large group of volunteers who work across the event site from timing control points to a Ham Radio network with six repeaters, and many more. All the volunteers have a schedule that needs to be observed to have the rally function.
